Pigeon Shooters name - Steve
Part of UK bag was shot - Northern Ireland
The total number of pigeons shot = 47
Gender - Male
The gun you used - Mixture
Bag Date - 09/02/02
The Crop type - Meal Shed
The day details -My father-in-law rang me on Saturday to tell me that the meal shed on his dairy farm was full of pigeons. It didn't take me long to gather up my kit and get down there! Sure enough, a huge swarm of pigeons were all looking to get an easy meal out of the wind and rain. I went into the shed through the back door and took the first 8 from behind a couple of pallets with my air rifle. When they had been spooked, I quickly set the downed birds up just inside the doors and took up position behind a tractor to wait for the fun. I didn't have long to wait and my Mossberg 9200 was kept busy, downing a further 39 birds in just a few hours! Just goes to show that the poor weather doesn't have to mean a poor bag!
